Touch to Screen
Brand Identity and Experience Design

A research project on how to design a touch screen kiosk intervention that facilitates patient understanding of cancer screening types and allows them to create a personal plan for screening.

This project was conceived by Dr. Allen Greiner, Associate Professor, KU Medical Center, Dept. of Family Medicine.

The Touch-to-Screen cross-disciplinary team includes a consortium of doctors, scientists, researchers, educators and myself centered at the University of Kansas.

My responsibilities included the entire design of the touch to screen experience: software platform research/selection, content authoring, planning, mapping, visual interface design, photo art direction, brand identity design for the entire touch-to-screen project, motion graphic design/animation and user testing. Additional concerns are on how the design can facilitate understanding of cancer screening and efficacy in low literacy and/or non-english speaking user groups.
