Information Design Lecture (link to pdf)

Link on how to export your .mov to mp4

Homework:
Sketches.
1. Photo Illustration (Image-based infographic) 2 concepts
2.Vector Illustration (Type and flat infographic) 2 concepts

Make your sketches on the computer or hand-drawn, but either way make sure you have them digital so you can project them. So if handrawn, scan or photograph. Make sure your sketches are 11x17 (proportion) horizontal in orientation.

For the image-based illustration I will encourage you to get off the computer and see how you might explore alternate ways to make imagery. Cut paper, objects, toys, food, stuff, people, paper, things and materials that you can manipulate/layout and then photograph and bring into the computer and add graphics.

For the vector-based illustration I will encourage you to use primarily typography with vector-based illustration, iconography and graphics.
