Project Swag: Based on April and Jae’s insights it sounds like we need lightweight, packable giveaways that express the diverse, fun, creative, maker culture within the School. Quality over Quantity. Hand’s-on. Studio-based. To me the school isn’t about Arch & Design, it is doing it. Process. For next Tuesday Sept 5th create two 11x17 moodboards of inspo for what Swag you want to tackle. Stickers for sure, but outside of that explore other objects/experiences (physical or digital) that you would be interested in.

Schedule a meeting with your client as soon as you can. Additionally, work on the following for next Tuesday Sept 5th:
1. Determine with your project partners how you want to manage the project. Slack, Notion, Mural, Google Docs/Drive etc.
2. Creating an Audit of Precedent. What has been done in your project space?
3. Determining what questions you have. Do you need to Interview stakeholders and/or Survey your intended audience?
4. Visualizing this data you are collecting. Notes, mapping, diagramming, sensemaking, how will you present this to each other, to your client and to our class?

HOMEWORK
Project Swag: Based feedback on moodboard start sketching 2-3 concepts for swag. Use moodboards and keywords to help visualize your concepts. Sketches can be digital or analog or both, but must be printed out large enough to pin up so April, Jae, Lizzy and other School staff can look at. We will review your concepts Thursday Sept 21st.
Project Project:
Based on feedback what are next steps? Probably will be a good time to start brainstorming and sketching initial concepts.

Based on April and Jae’s need for give-aways/ArcD inspired swag for recruiting please create a moodboard of some potential visual directions (give the direction a name) Think about how you can curate this by including graphics, pins, totes, and other wearables to express this visual direction.
